ACOB Lighting Technology Limited is proud to announce the successful signing of Grant Awards with theGlobal Environment Facility↗(GEF), United Nations Development Program(UNDP), andRural Electrification Agency of Nigeria↗(REA) under the GEF-fundedAfrica Minigrids Program↗(AMP). Through the AMP Initiative, we alongside 17 other Renewable Energy Service Companies (RESCOs) are tasked to design, develop, deploy and operate 23 new mini-grids across the 6 geo-political zones of Nigeria, with particular focus on supporting agricultural development.
This initiative is a game-changer for the benefiting communities as it hopes to not only provide electricity access, but more importantly spur socioeconomic growth and development, by stimulating and strengthening the existing rural agricultural value chains, while also improving education, and enhancing overall quality of life.
