We are thrilled to announce that ACOB Lighting Technology Limited has been awarded Best Social Bond in Africa at the 2024 EMEA Finance Achievement Awards for our NGN1.51bn Green Infrastructure Bond — a landmark achievement in our mission to power underserved communities across Nigeria with clean, reliable energy.
Through this 7-year, local currency bond, guaranteed by InfraCredit and co-financed under the Climate Finance Blending Facility, we are developing 335 kWp of isolated solar mini-grids across seven off-grid communities in Edo and Ondo States.
