Our Projects
A 50 kWp Solar + Battery Backup System project at Rasheed Shekoni Specialist Hospital, Jigawa State, providing clean energy to 50,000+ patients and generating 73,000 kWh annually.
ACOB Lighting Technology Limited successfully deployed a clean energy solution at Rasheed Shekoni Specialist Hospital in Dutse LGA, Jigawa State within the North-West region of Nigeria, replacing unreliable power source with a sustainable solar micro-utility system designed specifically for the healthcare sector.
Through this intervention, the facility now serves over 50,000 annual patients with stable, clean electricity. The project delivers a 99% system uptime to power critical zones including operating theatres, emergency wards, and laboratories, enabling a 40% increment in healthcare service capacity and patient care.
Generating an estimated 73,000 kWh annually, the 50 kWp Solar PV and 192 kWh Battery Storage (BESS) system has achieved an 85% reduction in diesel generator dependence. This clean transition reduces operating overhead by 50% in energy costs and avoids 60 Tons of CO₂ emissions annually.
This project stands as a benchmark for hospital solarization across Nigeria, demonstrating how clean energy can modernize healthcare delivery and ensure critical care continuity.
