2016

ACOB Lighting Established

ACOB Lighting Technology Limited was established, starting with street lighting installation and maintenance across Nigeria.

2016-2018

Street Lighting Projects

Successfully piloted LED streetlight projects across 23 Nigerian states, maintaining critical infrastructure for FCDA and state governments.

2018

Solar Energy Expansion

Expanded into renewable energy sector, embracing solar installations for residential, commercial, and institutional clients.

2019

REA Mini-Grid Pilot

Selected by Rural Electrification Agency (REA) to construct solar mini-grids in rural areas as part of their pilot program.

2020

COVID-19 Response

Built 50kWp systems in 12 beneficiary hospitals under the Nigerian Government's COVID-19 intervention program.

2021-2023

Rapid Growth

Expanded to 90 staff members with capability to complete 15 kWp EPC projects in 2-3 weeks.

2024

Institutional Funding

Raised NGN 1.51 billion through InfraCredit green infrastructure bond for scaling operations.

2025

National Scale Impact

Deployed projects in 9 communities, powering 2,306 connections with 690 kWp capacity. 19 more communities under construction.
